William is a scout, but his attempts to practice in preparation for a camp drive his family to exasperation. In revenge, William decides to get lost and worry his family. In the woods, a little boy demands various tasks of William, such as getting a wasp for him. After attempting to find “crockerdiles” in the pond, the boy’s mother comes and scolds William, so he decides to go home. It’s just about lunchtime – so much for getting lost.
